Nine Priests of the Jubilee year 2025

The Society of the Precious Blood Province of Tanzania is blessed by the nine new members who were ordained priests. This event cannot but be taken as ablessing as we have just inaugurated the Jubilee Year 2025. This ordination took place on 25th January in Morogoro Diocese at the Body and Precious Blood Parish-Kola by the hands of His Excellence Bp. Lazarus Vitalis Msimbe, SDS the Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Morogoro.

The deacons ordained include ABIAS MKWETU THADEO, C.PP.S., ALPHONCE GERVAS LANG’U, C.PP.S, ANDREW NICHOLAS MAUYA, C.PP.S, CYPRIAN JUMA DAMIAN, C.PP.S, DEOGRATIAS ISMAIL DIMOSSO, C.PP.S, ERASMO LAZARO MLIGO, C.PP.S, FRANCE RWEHABURA  HRIZOSTOMU, C.PP.S, METODI PASTORY KIBIRITI, C.PP.S, and WILBERD JOSEPH CHUWA, C.PP.S.

After receiving the seminary formation according to the program of the congregation, they were incorporated to the congregation on the 1st of July 2024, and the following day on 2nd July 2024 they were ordained Deacons in which they served for six months in different Missionary stations. The nine new Priests are the blessings of the Jubilee Year but the are a blessing from the intercession of the Blessed Don Giovanni Merlini.

Let us pray for the increase of vocations in our Province and in our congregation at large. Blessed John Merlini pray for us all.
